UPDATE: Now it plays sounds (by chance I found it works with headphones, i.e. not loudspeaker), recording works as well, b u t, the question mark =help menu is still not working correctly, because there is no normal method to go back to the menu. Now three stars kind of fair. The app does not work that means it doesnt play a single tune. And, there are screens which you only can leave when you close the app to come back to the instrument screen. Compared with other music apps its pretty expensive but for no audio function at all. It shows only some nice screens. That is totally ridiculous and unacceptable. Who approved this? I want my money back!

Nice but the touch sensitivity is a bit low. Or slow on iPod touch 4.

Works wonderfully on the iPad although when playing chords the audio seems to crackle a little. None the less very handy for practicing.

It sounded a little clearer. I do have an ipad1, so not sure if that is the problem, but it is crackling and not quite responsive enough. It is nice other than that. Hopefully an update will fix. Ill hold on to it.

I tried the app and was impressed with the sound of the instruments and response of the notes. However I respectfully would like to submit some constructive criticism. some of the higher notes on the tenor pans sound like the stick had too much rubber when the samples were done. The bass would have sounded better if the basses were hung rather than on floor stands. The only other problem is with the marking of the notes on the bass pan particularly. If you clearly touch the lower notes, the high note plays and vice versa. Pls do not feel i am hating in any way because overall it is d best pan app available. Kudos and keep red white & black flying high! Well done!

I play a low C tenor pan and appreciate the work that went into this app. Very impressed and fun to practice on. I noticed recently that the displayed notes for the four Celloes is not correct. Thank you

I LOVE steel drums and I play them everyday we have a club at school and Im in it and I think this is a great app because I can play it ON THE GO and not JUST at school,THANK U FOR INVENTING THIS APP☺

If there was an option to save the way you move the bass pans around. Otherwise, perfect app!!

This is a great tool for practicing on. I use it on my iPhone, so I wish the pan on the screen was a little bigger. Other than the size, I give it an A+.

Wouldve given it 5 stars if tutorials and tunes were included in it instead of being directed to You Tube (which was sorely lacking)!

The sensitivity is not the best.. cant really hit the pans at rhythm... seems like theres some latency... but other than that its a cool app

I love the app no doubt but the only problem I have is when I record I hear the totally opposite of what I was playing

This app used to be perfect, since the "update" something went wrong. The notes on the drums will now mute out before reaching maximum decay. This really stinks. The velocity is now very unstable. This is a true nightmare.

There are pans that are not right. Like the guitar, three cello, double seconds, and the six base. Also the recording thing is horrible. It messes up everything. Also there are more pans that are not on the list.

I love this steel pan. The sound is superb and there are so many different choices of steel pan. I didnt even know there were so many. Looks and sound just like the real thing. You even learn a little history about each type of pan and Pan Trinbago. Love it! It would be nice if it taught you a song like the other steel pan app by David A.... Something. Nonetheless, you should get it cause it is great quality!
